Remaining yards: hydraulic cattle crushes and calf cradles and associated draft loading and holding/working yards.

The project data room contains a detailed plant and equipment list. There is c$2.8 million (purchase price) in plant and equipment on station.

Since FY2018 the vendor has invested over $3.6 million in capital expenditure improving Ruby Plains. An additional amount of approximately $1 million has been invested at Sturt Creek during the same period.

On building replacements and upgrades


On information and communication technology. This has included a new digital mobile radio system


On water storage and distribution infrastructure. This has included bore refurbishment/redrilling, dam construction, new tanks, troughs, pumps, pipeline, solar conversion and generators


On installing and upgrading yards and fences

Ruby Plains and Sturt Creek Stations are presently enjoying an excellent wet season with 294.2mm of rain falling over January and February 2021.
